Beauty Event (aka, 21 Days of Beauty)

The shining star of Ulta sales, the semiannual 21 Days of Beauty Sale happens twice a year. It’s a sale that overflows with cosmetics, skin and hair care products to keep you smiling until the next one rolls around again in the fall. Although the date changes every year, you can set your clock to the approximate time, give or take a day or two. Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty 2025 spring edition started on March 7 and lasted until March 27. We expect a similar schedule for 2026.
Ulta loves its customers so much that it doesn’t make us wait until the day to get a preview of the merch. Ulta lets us see the following week’s products that’ll be on sale (usually the Wednesday before) so we can make sure we’re properly prepared for the spending, spending, and, yep — more spending. Spring Haul Event

Ulta’s Spring Haul Event in April comes on the heels of Ulta’s Beauty Event (formerly 21 Days of Beauty). It offers customers major discounts and a plethora of daily deals to boot on prestige cosmetics, which, as you know, only happens a few times a year. It’s an excellent way to get all the necessities (and some not-so-much necessities) between Ulta’s “Haul Events.” Last year, it started on April 9 and ran through to April 20 with up to 50% off the biggest brands in hair care, skincare, body care and makeup.

Memorial Day Sale

The Ulta Memorial Day sale runs from typically from May 22 to May 26. You can save up to 40% off beauty from top brands like Urban Decay, Armani, Dyson, MAC and more. Expect a four day sale again for 2026.
Gorgeous Hair Event

The Gorgeous Hair Event comes around twice a year, with the first usually kicking off in May (the second in October). Ulta spaced these semiannual events perfectly to let you stock up on your last beauty haul. During the event, you’ll save 50% on all your hair gear so your locks look the healthiest for the rest of the spring season and into the long summer months. In 2024, we didn’t see the spring edition of the Gorgeous Hair Event pop up when it usually does. Instead, Ulta through a month-long Member Love event in May that offers extra rewards points to rewards members who make specific purchases.
When is the Next Ulta Gorgeous Hair Event?
If Ulta sticks to its usual timing, we’d may see this event in mid-May 2026. Since it’s such a major event that Ulta advertises as a twice-annual sale, we hope Ulta hasn’t abandoned this sale and that it could still happen. It also pops up in the fall, usually in October.

Ulta Jumbo Love Event

The summer Jumbo Love Sale (called the Big Summer Sale this year) rans from about June 23 to July 15. The Jumbo Love Sale happens two times per year, in summer and near the end of the year. This semiannual sale features savings of up to 40% off the top hair care brands, including Biolage, Joico and Redken, to name a few. You might also hear it called the “Ulta Liter Sale” because of the oodles of savings on liter bottles of shampoo, conditioner and other products that show your hair the most “jumbo” love ever.
Big Summer Beauty Sale

The Summer Sale is Ulta’s way of getting you over the midsummer hump. It usually happens toward the end of June every year with savings of up to 50% on summer skin care, BOGO makeup, up to 40% off jumbo hair care, including drugstore brands and prestige products, and daily deals. Expect this sale to run from approximately June 23 to July 13. 2026 sale dates haven’t been revealed yet.

Glow Up Savings Event

During what is often referred to as Black Friday in July – when many major retailers host their biggest sales of the summer – Ulta held a sale for rewards members. The Ulta Glow Up Savings Event ran from July 16 to July 21. During this time Ulta’s Diamond members could save 20% on a qualifying purchase, Platinum members could save 15% and Basic-level members could save 10%.
National Lipstick Day Sale

As noted above, National Lipstick Day is celebrated annually on July 29. Ulta celebrates the occasion with savings on lipstick, lipgloss and more from beloved brands like Fenty Beauty, Too Faced and Bobbi Brown.
Like February, August is another hiatus from Ulta’s major sales events. However, Ulta runs smaller promos throughout this month that are equally thrilling. For example, the Forever Fabulous Sale (aka the 72-Hour Beauty Sale) marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall beauty.
Diamond and Platinum Member Appreciation Days
Member Appreciation Days are fun surprises from Ulta for Diamond or Platinum Beauty Rewards members. It’s when you’ll earn 10x points on literally thousands of products and 5x points on everything else. Just sign into your account to activate. Similar to Ulta’s semi-annual saving events, Ulta’s Early Black Friday Sale features new deals every week. Last year until Nov. 23, you could find new deals on hair, skin and beauty products from beloved brands.
